Let’s Make Friends

One of the main benefits of small group travel tours is the ability to form close connections with other travelers. This can lead to a more enriching and fulfilling travel experience, as well as the opportunity to make new friends from all over the world. My husband and I have made friends that live in Europe, Canada, and the other side of the US on our last small group tour to Costa Rica. Learn more about our Costa Rican adventure.

Take the Stress off

In addition to the social benefits, small group travel tours also offer a number of logistical advantages. For example, they often provide access to local guides and experts who can provide valuable insights and information about the destinations being visited. They also typically include transportation and accommodation, which can save travelers time and hassle. I have also found that it makes it easier for me to focus on planning my content and photography without having to worry too much about how I am going to get to each location or where I am going to stay.

Flexibility

Another advantage of small group travel tours is that they often allow for more flexibility and spontaneity than larger group tours. This can be particularly appealing for travelers who want to be able to make last-minute changes to their itineraries or explore off-the-beaten-path destinations. Many small group tours give you lots of time to explore on your own, sometimes even full days in a location to do your own thing.

Types of Tours

When looking for a small group travel tour, it’s important to consider the type of trip you’re interested in and what you want to get out of it. Some popular options include adventure tours, cultural tours, and wildlife safaris. Additionally, you should also consider things like the size of the group, the duration of the tour, and the level of physical activity required.

Reputable Tour Operators

Finally, it is important to ensure that the tour operator you choose is reputable and has a good track record. Look for reviews and testimonials from previous customers, and make sure the company is licensed and insured. Tourhub.com is a great place to find tons tour companies and tours in one location. So far I have loved traveling with G Adventures. I used them for my tour to Costa Rica and soon to Belize and Guatemala.

The idea of small group tours is so much more appealing than large groups. When looking to book any type of trip with a tour company I always search the size of the group. (6 people per tour max)
